What you will get: You will receive an Alocasia polly plant growing in a 4" pot. General features and fun points: Alocasia Polly (Alocasia amazonica) known also as Elephant's ear, Kris plant, is an amazing and unique houseplant. It was bred by crosses between different plant varieties. The most outstanding feature of this plant is its foliage: magnificent leaves resembling the hand-curved ceremonial masks in Africa. The plant is an excellent stand-alone, eye-catching plant, and may enhance the visual effect of a houseplant combination. Care tips: Soil – Alocasia prefers peat-based soils with addition of perlite to keep the soil moist and ensure proper drainage. During winter times soil can be let dry a little. Light – Alocasia likes bright, indirect light. Direct sunlight can damage the leaves. Water – Allow the top 2-3" to dry between watering. Water thoroughly each time. Less frequent during winter. Temperature – Alocasia likes the warmth, preferably between 65°F -85°F not lower than 60°F. Feeding – Alocasias are very heavy feeders.
