The foliage of young Birkin plants has a dominantly deep green color. The creamy-yellow strips develop at the later stages.\n\n\nCare tips\n\nSoil –Use rich, peat-based soil with water retaining capacity.\n\nLight – Philodendron Birkin likes bright indirect or shaded sunlight. Direct sunlight can damage the leaves.\n\nWater – These plants are not drought tolerant during the growing season. Keep the potting mixture thoroughly moist all the time during these seasons. In winter the soil should mostly dry out between waterings.
