Description
Monstera minima (Rhaphidophora Tetrasperma) is a compact version of the Monstera deliciosa. However, unlike deliciosa, leaves of minima split when the plant is very young. The plant is a rapid grower with its vines growing to 6 to 12 feet in a single growing season. Monstera minima is an air purifier and a low-maintenance plant.
Care tips
Monstera minima requires well-draining soil. It thrives under bright indirect light. The plant may tolerate lower light but may not grow well. Water the plant when the top 1/2 inch of soil becomes dry. The best temperature range for this plant is 55-75°F. Since Monstera minima is a fast grower, feed it with a houseplant fertilizer monthly during the growing season.
