Description
Monstera is among the most favored plants by indoor plant lovers. Other than its long petiole and large heart-shaped leaves, the plant is unique in its slit leaves. However, the leaves of younger plants (mostly on the market) do not split until the plants get more mature. Large-leafed philodendron plants, including the trendy monstera plant, were shown to be one of the most effective plants for reducing air pollution.
Care tips
Monstera thrives in bright to medium indirect light. It may not be suitable for intensive direct sunlight but can adapt to it. Allowing soil to dry out between waterings. The plant does well with normal room humidity but prefers humid conditions. The best temperature range for Monstera is 65°F-85°F. Try to avoid temperatures below 60°F. Feed the plant during the growing season once a month.
